A Restored Life = A Restored City

A ministry that serves individuals suffering from substance use disorder, sex trafficking, homelessness and food insecurity.

Miracle Mile Campus:

Each Sunday, the outreach team loads up vans and heads out to the Miracle Mile Campus. This is not a traditional “campus” location, but wherever our brothers and sisters are on the streets on or near Mass Ave. Members of our teams pass out hot chicken noodle soup, as well as sandwiches, snacks and water to members of our community in need. People are able to receive prayer and a short message from the Word to bring encouragement. They are not just people living on the street: They are our brothers and sisters who we know by name, who are seen and known by a loving God.

Envisions Shelter Outreach:

We have the blessing of also holding a church service at the Envisions Hotel in Jamaica Plain every Sunday morning. Several members of our team bring live worship and a message from the Word to a community in recovery.

Narcotics Anonymous Meeting

As we minister to our brothers and sisters who struggle with drug addiction, we desire to see them have support in their recovery journey. This meeting was started by Pastor Javier Rodriguez, whose testimony shows that the power of Christ can overcome any addiction and bring restoration to their life. The NA meeting takes place in the basement of our Boston Campus every Thursday from 7:00-8:30PM.

Portugese Service

On Friday nights, the outreach team used to pass out grocery bags and pray for our neighbors. However, the team noticed community members wanted to hear more from the Word of God, thus birthing the Cape Verdean/Portuguese service. Meeting at the Boston campus, it is largely made up of members of the local community from Cape Verde, who also understand Portuguese. It begins with a homecooked meal shared together beginning at 6:30pm. Service begins at 7:30pm, including prayer, worship and a message. It has been a blessing to see the growth that has occurred during this service and how God is moving through this ministry. The evening concludes with grocery bags being passed out to the community, donated from local partners.

Jasmines House:

In memory of our beloved Jasmine Lee-Joyce Burrus. Jasmine’s House is a 1-year transitional residence program for women and women with children with nowhere to go. Here they will find a place to rebuild their lives and give their children a positive start in life. All women are welcome regardless of race, creed, color and national origin. We welcome them and offer the help they need to begin their new lives with their new families. We will offer a continuum of services including spiritual and mental health counseling, educational and vocational training, and life skills programs from budgeting to building self-esteem.
